Follow Me

This painting was inspired by an excerpt in the Torah from Exodus 13:21. The passage speaks about how G-d led the people of Israel in a pillar of smoke by day and a pillar of fire by day. The painting is called “Follow Me” and is specifically about the pillar of fire, because of how the light helped them find their way in the dark.

Translating the Hebrew words in English would give: “by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel”
